We are excited to share updates around graduation for the Class of 2021. Our Seniors have demonstrated a growth mindset and an ability to adapt to all of the challenges and changes during this school year. All participants will be required to wear a mask and maintain a six-foot social distance.

Capital High’s graduation ceremony will be Tuesday, June 8th.

Here are some other important things to know:

  • The ceremony will be held indoors at the Monona Terrace.

    • Students can begin arriving at 4 PM

    • The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM in the Exhibit Hall

    • The ceremony will run approximately 1 hour

    • Students can invite up to 4 guests. Guests will be seated by household according to the tickets issued.

      • If you have misplaced your tickets, you will need to stop by the table to get exceptions tickets. No one will be allowed in the ceremony without a ticket.

  • The ceremony will be live-streamed on Facebook for those unable to attend or wishing to remain virtual for the ceremony.

Our graduation ceremony is a special opportunity to honor and recognize the accomplishments of the Class of 2021. They are the first to earn their MMSD diploma through Capital High which is a testament to their completion of college and career standards.
