Personalized Pathways
The Madison Metropolitan School District will begin implementing Personalized Pathways at the four comprehensive high schools beginning in the 2017-18 school year.
Students involved in Personalized Pathways will engage in learning focused around a common theme, the first of which is Health Services. Schools will also be developing smaller learning communities, similar to how Capital High is structured.
Each Madison High School will offer Personalized Pathways with their own customized focus (East, La Follette, Memorial and West).
Capital High, through our implementation of Advisories, Experiential Learning, and Work-Based, will be working with each student to determine their postsecondary plan and will develop a personalized pathway designed to support their goals.
