Leaving to Learn

Most Wednesday afternoon, students in all grade levels have the opportunity to participate in “Leaving to Learn”. 

For students in grades 9-10 these Experiential Learning opportunities are designed to be whole-class explorations that align with core curriculum benchmarks, the Academic and Career Plan (ACP) and Social and Emotional Learning Standards (SEL). 

For grades 11 and 12, opportunities center around Work Based Learning activities that support post-secondary academic and career exploration. 

Sometimes the entire school will participate in opportunities to enrich the entire school community.
