Behavior Engagement Coach
The Behavior Engagement Coach: Rick Reynolds
The Behavior Engagement Coach works with students, families, and staff to promote student success through nurturing personal responsibility and positive relationships. They develop and coordinate:
- Positive school culture and climate through school-wide Habits of Success
- Universal practices for student engagement
- Targeted support for student behavior interventions
School Counselor
School Counselor: Marianne Matt
School counselors are innovative leaders who actively work to identify and remove barriers to student achievement and well-being by championing practices that create equitable, safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments for all students. A school counselor provides:
- Individual student advising
- Individual and group support for personal wellbeing
- Academic skills support
- College and/or career readiness planning
- Family connections and support for postsecondary planning individual student assessment review (such as ACT, Aspire, ACCUPLACER)

Experiential Learning Coordinator
Experiential Learning Coordinator: Joel Jarosky
The Experiential Learning Coordinator supports the successful implementation of the Academic and Career Plan and the “leaving to learn” model in order to provide students with opportunities that enhance their development of a personalized pathway. The Experiential Learning Coordinator develops and coordinates:
- Curriculum and activities aligned to the Experiential Learning Continuum
- Student achievement of Youth Leadership and Employability certificates
- Work-based learning curriculum and activities
- Community partnerships in support of student college and career exploration
Instructional Coach
Instructional Coach: Jocelyn Lepinski
The Instructional Coach implements a student-focused, research-based coaching model designed to foster collaboration among teachers and provide differentiated support for individual teachers.
Instructional coaches are committed to increasing student achievement by:
- Improving their instructional practices through school-wide professional development and teacher team development
- Providing targeted support through individual instructional coach cycles
- Using student performance data to set and meet growth targets
Nurse
The School Nurse provide services to keep kids healthy, in school, and in their classrooms. Students may access the School Nurse for assistance with the following:
- Medical, dental or mental health care
- Acute sickness or injury evaluation and care
- Chronic health condition and illness management
- Medication management
- Health and wellness education
- Alcohol and other drug use intervention
- Reproductive health information and support

Psychologist
The School Psychologist supports students to maximize opportunities for learning to achieve success. They can develop and coordinate:
- Interventions and mental health services to foster social, emotional, and life skills
- Strategies for helping individual students foster academic skills
- Assessments to identify learning needs
- Data-based decision making for planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs and services

Social Worker
Social Workers: Pazee Yang (westside) and Kelli Semrau (eastside)
The school social workers promote positive mental, emotional, and social relationships in the school community by providing interventions, prevention, advocacy, and education to strengthening our school community. School Social Work focuses on, but is not limited to:
- Positive collaborative relationships with students, families, and the community, in order to meet students' needs and maximize their success in school
- MMSD systems and policies, such as enrollment, free-reduced lunch and transportation
- Attendance improvement efforts, including habitual truancy
- Students and families who do not have permanent housing or are experiencing homelessness. Visit the TEP website for more information.
