Admissions for 26-27
Applying to Capital High
Please review this slideshow for more information about Capital High; Spanish language slideshow.
The #1 predictor of success at Capital High is a desire by the student to attend Capital High.
Capital High offers competency based education with graduation via portfolio completion and defense rather than a traditional credit based pathway to graduation. Students at Capital High do still gain credits and earn a GPA.
Capital High also has the unique ability to provide a Parenting pathway for students who are pregnant or parenting. We also have a partnership with Reach Dane/WeeStart to provide a limited number of onsite daycare spots; there is limited capacity and we are only able to serve some of our students with this service.
Capital High retains the right to return students to their comprehensive high school if they violate the student conduct agreement.
